LSAT Prep Plus 2020-2021: Strategies for Every Section + Real LSAT Questions + Online (Kaplan Test Prep)

Future Law students... this is for you!

I am self-studying! The first time I prepped for the LSAT I used Testmasters ( I couldn’t even make the National median). Kaplan’s prep book is so thorough! I used to think the LSAT was hard or maybe I wasn’t smart enough.

Best purchase I made

So far I'm loving this book! I registered it online and looked through the list of online study guides to follow along with. I dont take the LSATs for a few months now, so fingers crossed this helps. Will post update after!

Perfect Buy

So far so good. I actually feel like this book will help me further my succeed in my career. It’s not like a regular text book format. It reads like a narrative book. A perfect buy. Would definitely recommend!

The PowerScore LSAT Bible Trilogy, 2020 edition.

The first time I used some other testprep company

I'm still waiting to get my scores back-but I used PowerScore while studying for my second round of the LSAT. The first time I used some other testprep company (the fact that I can't remember their name says something about how useful they were). After taking the LSAT for the second time I was discussing my shock at how easy it was with my sister-and she said something that really stood out to me: "maybe it wasn't easier maybe you were just more prepared this time". If that's the case, I totally attribute that to this trilogy! The difference was astounding to the point where I'm still kind of convinced that I may have just gotten an easier LSAT form than last time (it was ridiculously easy after studying with PowerScore). I bought this package 6 months ago, and I love how PowerScore explains LSAT concepts in comparison to some of the other company's I've used. Take it from someone who has taken the LSAT twice-PowerScore will make you master the concepts even if you don't realize it, and you will take the exam with ease and more confidence. I highly recommend!!

***UPDATE! I JUST GOT MY JUNE LSAT BACK AND I SCORED TEN POINTS HIGHER THAN THE LAST LSAT I TOOK STUDYING WITH A DIFFERENT TEST PREP COMPANY!!!***

I was lost on the LSAT before purchasing these books ...

I was lost on the LSAT before purchasing these books, and I quickly found out you have to be careful what study aids your buy. After reading the first couple of chapters of the Logical Reasoning Bible, I saw the value in these books. It breaks down the questions in a way that you can understand. It takes more than one reading for the information to really start to sink, so give yourself plenty of time to absorb the material. My understanding of the LSAT and how to tackle it has gone up tremendously since using these books.

Detailed LSAT Prep

I studied with these books for 12 weeks. They are INCREDIBLY detailed in terms of what you can expect to see on the test, types of questions, common traps, etc. I was able to improve my score 13 points in 12 weeks. I was pleased with the progress, but I plateaued around 163 and I couldn't break the 165 mark. I took a week off and I bought "The LSAT Trainer" by Mike Kim. I'm now hovering around 170. I am SO happy with my score now. In my experience, this series is an excellent foundation, but you have to supplement it. It gives you some EXCELLENT information, but the methodology is not there. You will need strategies for the test that aren't just memorizing a million different question types, and these books alone will not give that to you.
